Creative Submission Timelines

General

Ads must conform to specifications outlined herein on each ad format’s respective page. All creative is subject to Yahoo approval, elements not meeting specifications will be returned for revision, which may delay the launch date.

Ad creative must be submitted based on the schedules outlined below above to enable thorough production and testing. Contact your Sales POC for additional details.

Timelines

The following Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are in business days:

Lead times vary based on the complexity of the creative, number of ads, approval times, number of revisions, etc.

Client Produced Ads - Deliverables

For client-produced ads, the client will provide final designed files and only needs assistance with production/development of animated and/or interactive ads from our internal creative team.

All requested deliverables can be found in the deliverables table of every ad format page found across Yahoo Ad Specs. Additionally, the client should provide as many of the below deliverables as possible:

  • Layered PSDs
  • Font Files
  • Storyboards (if applicable)
  • Direction on functionality (if applicable)
  • Anything unique not already specified or provided in files

Yahoo Produced Ads - Deliverables

For Yahoo-produced ads, the client will provide raw assets and needs assistance with design and development with design and production/development of animated and/or interactive ads from our internal creative team.

Once ad format(s) are selected, the client should provide as many of the below deliverables as possible:

  • Layered PSDs
  • High-resolution images
  • Logos
  • Font Files
  • Brand Guidelines
  • Ad Copy
  • Video Files
  • Storyboards
  • Vector Files
  • Creative references
  • CTA specifications
  • Anything unique not already specified or provided in files
