Outdoor Displays

The Digital Out of Home (DOOH) market encapsulates all non-person-owned digital screens located outside of the home. Its focus is on marketing to consumers “on the go” while they are in public spaces or in transit. The DSP has access to a wide array of venue types including airports, transit shelters, highway billboards, gas stations, doctor’s offices, malls, office buildings, and more.

Creative Best Practices

  • Clear & Concise CTA: Provide users with a clear benefit or incentive to scan. (i.e. "Scan to win", "Scan to enter" etc.)
  • Cohesive Messaging: Try to focus on one key message in the creative experience.
  • Large QR Code: Increased size of QR Code generates better engagement. (i.e. iCTV QR code should be 400px or larger).
  • Time Displayed: QR code on the ad for as long as possible. (i.e. the entire length of the ad or at least 30 seconds for long form video).
  • Use Black and White Colors: A standard black and white QR code is more recognizable to users and more intuitive for them to scan.
  • General

    Screen resolutions and animation varies by screen owner. Most common screens resolutions: 1080x1920, 1920x1080 and 1400x400.

    Interested advertisers should discuss specs and implementing this format with Sales POC to determine the correct size and assets needed for the appropriate placement.

    DOOH inventory cannot serve via 3rd party vendor ad tags. However, limited DOOH inventory does support 3rd party trackers. Reach out to your Sales POC to learn more.
