The Advertising Policy Change Log reflects material changes made to Yahoo's Advertising Policies and Supply Partner Policies. Where appropriate and at Yahoo's sole discretion, material Policy changes will be communicated to partners in advance. Advertisers and Supply Partners are responsible for complying with Yahoo's current Policies at all times.
January 2025
- The global Tobacco advertising policy has been updated to clarify that our prohibition on tobacco products includes "nicotine products", for example "nicotine pouches". Products that are clearly intended for smoking cessation are allowed, as long as the product is approved as such by a local regulatory authority, such as the US FDA or Health Canada.
